“YOY” - is a mobile app for primary school students (grades 1-2, 3-4), who learn Ukrainian language in educational institutions teaching in languages of national minorities.
It’s a mobile app for learning Ukrainian language by students of primary school (grades 1-2, 3-4) whose native language is Hungarian or Romanian.
The main goal of the app is to help to teach (for teachers) and to learn (for students) Ukrainian in educational institutions where the educational process is conducted in the language of a national minority.
The project is created to support the reform - the New Ukrainian School (NUSch).
The app may be used as an additional teaching tool during a lesson. The game format simplifies learning the lesson.
“YOY” has a goal to support students and teachers in their efforts to learn
and teach Ukrainian language. The app is going to make this process exciting and dynamic, unforgettable for every boy and girl!

This is a programme of cooperation between Ukraine, Finland and the EU, which started in July 2018.
The project is carried out by the company FCG Finish Consulting Group Ltd.
It has national coverage and aims to support the reform of the New Ukrainian School (NUSch), especially in the field of primary education. It’s been developed around three interconnected thematic clusters: teacher training, education promotion and a new educational environment.
